Notes of Gantry Crane Installation

1. Single-polar safety conductor bar:

It is recommended to select the single-polar safety conductor bar for the power supply. The single-polar safety conductor bar adopts the H-type design. The inner groove is deep, and the Current Collector does not easily fall off and cause power failure.

2. Heavy trolley wire:

It is recommended to use a 630A or more trolley wire because the Gantry Crane moves violently and requires high mechanical strength of the conductor bar, while the heavy-duty trolley wire conductor has a large cross-sectional area and uses a single-hole lifting pylon as Fixtures can meet their strength.

3. Installation:

The gantry crane works outdoors and there are 2 installation methods: overhead installation and trench installation.

Important installation instructions:

1) Assembled suspension

Adjust the suspension bolts to ensure the straightness and horizontal parallelism error of each wire in the horizontal and vertical directions. It shall be less than 5mm.

2) Wire connection

The guide rail and the conductive plate are connected with an abrasive cloth to remove the chlorinated layer and wipe clean; a layer of conductive paste with a thickness of about 0.2mm is applied to reduce the contact resistance.

3) Installation of power supply

Open the cable holes on both sides of the connection cover. The size of the opening is generally 2mm smaller than the outer diameter of the cable. Just according to the wiring diagram to determine the installation location to access.

4) Installation of the collector

The length of the tractor is determined by the number of poles of the current collector and the installation space. After installation, loosen the limit nut and remove the limit plate so that the collector moves freely up and down.

5) Review

Check the parallelism of the conductor line and the lifting running rail, the requirement is less than 20mm, and tighten all the fasteners. After continuous working 1 month, tighten all fasteners once again.
