On May 20, the first batch of 7 main girder sections of the 1000-ton Gantry Crane manufactured by Henan Weihua Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. for the Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Holdings) Co., Ltd. had reached at the site. And the shipbuilding project is about being launched.
The gantry crane is an important supporting facility of the new shipbuilding yard. The gantry crane is with span of 145m, lifting height of 75m, and lifting weight of 1,000t. As the hull is turned over in the air, the maximum lifting weight is 600t. The largest shipbuilding gantry in heavy equipment. The gantry Crane Project will be installed in December, 2019 and put into trial use.
